Low Technology Tools:
Regarding low technology supports, there are many that act as a tool students
can use in the classroom as an aide. These can consist of personal items such as
a Reading guide or a book holder that can be carried by the students in order to
help them learn the content and also improve their skills.

Reading Guide:
Helpful for students who need assistance while reading heavy texts or reading through stories. This tool can be used in the classroom where it only reveals one line at a time to the reader. The students focus is maintained because of how this tool blocks out the other content. (Pictured above on left)
Book Holder: This can be used as a better way of presenting a book to a student. It can be used for anyone who wants to read with comfortablitlity and smooth reading. This great holder has arms on it which can hold the book upright in a good angle for the reader instead of laying on the students desk. Students who use the book holder can find it beneficial because of how strongly the arms of it are; they can keep the book open so the student doesnt have to worry about touching them until the page is ready to be turned. Mid Technology Tools:
Depending on what their needs are and where their strengths lie, some mid technology tools students can use are Ebooks, Portable Devices like the BrailleNote, and Scan/Read Systems like the Talking Dictionary to help them read through the content in a concisive way.
Portable Note taker (Braille Sense on Hand):
This can be particularly beneficial to students who are blind. It is used as an easy access for students because they can use it to record notes in class. It contains many wonderful features such as a word processor, a braille keyboard, access to messaging, the internet, and is manageable!
Ebooks: (Kindle)
They can be helpful because students are given free
acess to using these ebook programs. Students who are low leveled readers or
have low vision who have these ebooks can be taught the content or read it out
loud. One popular program is Kindle, for it can be added as an app on a ipad, on
the phone, or even used online.

with speech output, a better display of text, and highlighting features. Some common issues of trying to understand an unfamiliar word can be easily
determined by this device that shows the word in a bigger print and reads
